Hi, I’m Amani Abu-Hashim.

I spent years helping big companies figure out their people side. Now I'm doing it for the rest of us.

My Approach

I have a Master’s degree in organizational behavior and spent years doing change management work: helping large companies figure out their people, their structure, and how to actually function. I’ve worked with Fortune 500’s and tiny teams, here’s what I kept noticing:

The problems are the same. The resources aren’t.

Big corporations have HR departments, consultants on retainer, onboarding programs, and playbooks for everything. Small business owners have Google and their gut. That gap always bothered me.

So, when I left my job and started building my own thing, I felt it firsthand. All that expertise, and I still found myself winging the parts that mattered most. That’s when I knew I had to build something.

What I believe

Founders deserve better.

  • You shouldn’t have to learn the hard lessons by living through them

  • Good organizational thinking isn’t just for big companies

  • The people side of running a business is a skill…and it can be taught

  • You built something real, you deserve the tools to make it work

The personal stuff

When I'm not building The Owner's Manual I'm freelance consulting, talking to as many founders as I can, and doing the unglamorous work that every early stage business requires. I know firsthand what it takes to build something from scratch while wearing every hat and that lived experience is baked into everything I create.

If you want to follow along as The Owner's Manual comes to life, I share the journey on TikTok — the wins, the lessons, and everything in between.
